Step 1：Hold by the Dorsal D-Ring, shake to Let Straps Fall Step 2：Inspect for Damage or Wear Step 3：Donning the Fall Protection Harness Step 4：Connect the Leg Straps. Step 5：Connect the Chest / Waist Strap. Step 6：Adjust the Straps. INSPECT Always inspect safety harness before using it. Check the material for tears, cuts, fraying, abrasion, discoloration, burns, holes, mold, pulled/broken stitches, or other signs of wear/damage. If the harness is showing any signs of noticeable wear or damage, defect, inadequate maintenance, or unsafe condition, it must be removed from service immediately, because it may cause injury or death. STORAGE Harness should be kept in a cool, dry place and indoor when not in use. Heat, cold, or constant exposure to sunlight or rain could cause damage that may not be visible. External Shock Absorbing Lanyard / Energy Absorbing Lanyard / Fall-arrest Lanyard External shock absorbing lanyard is used as a component in a Personal Fall Protection Systems where a combination of worker mobility and fall protection is required. Why do I need energy absorbing lanyard? Fall arrest lanyards could reduce the impact of a fall via a shock-absorber within the system. These lanyards come in lengths up to a maximum of 1.8 m. They should only be used with sufficient height clearance. Application： A full body harness must be worn when this equipment is used as a component of a personal fall protection systems.
